The Cornerstones topic in Year 2 this term is The Scented Garden.
We are learning about how plants grow, how they can heal and how some plants can be harmful. We created an indoor garden of edible plants and are looking forward to a crop of good things to eat!
Elena planted carrot seeds and was very pleased to see the tiny leaves sprouting. ‘I planted pak choi – it’s a vegetable we enjoy eating at home.’ Isabella. ‘I’m not entirely sure what’s in my pot – we’ll have to wait and see!’ Libby.
