On Wednesday, we celebrated Year 13’s time at Old Palace with a Leavers’ Service in Croydon Minster followed by a reception for students and their families in the Medieval Gardens at Seniors.
It was a really lovely afternoon, and parents so enjoyed the chance to meet their daughter’s tutors and celebrate their time with them at Old Palace over afternoon tea.
Mr Talleux says: We had a wonderful “last day” with Year 13 on Wednesday during which they all spent the morning sharing memories, signing their Year books, engaging in team bonding and sporting activities. We then had a lovely lunch by the swimming pool, where we indulged in more photographs taking for memories. The day culminated in a moving Leavers’ Service in the Minster. I would like to thank all the parents who managed to attend the service and join us for refreshments afterwards. We appreciate that many could not attend due to work commitments, but it was wonderful to be able to meet up in person again. May I take this opportunity to thank the parents of our Year 13 students for supporting me over the last two years.
