Year 9 students excel at the Whitgift CCF Annual General Inspection
Our Year 9 CCF students had the opportunity to get involved in their first CCF Inspection last month. The cadets had been working hard towards this over the last few months and they proudly presented themselves at the Inspection, showing off their smart RAF uniform and demonstrating how to parade.
The students then participated in a range of activities and demonstrations throughout the afternoon. The stations included laser clay pigeon shooting, tug of war, the obstacle course, flight stimulator and a spiders web. These were all thoroughly enjoyed by the RAF section. At the end of the afternoon the army section showed off their skills by re-enacting a scene from a war zone. The Old Palace students loved it and they won the tug of war too! A fantastic afternoon overall.
Our thanks to Whitgift for organising this fun event and also for their ongoing support of the Old Palace students at CCF.
