To celebrate International Dance Day last Friday, our Dance department held the School’s first ever Danceathon, and what a wonderful, energy-packed event it was. The sun shone, the music played and everyone joined in.
Led by our Year 10 Dance Leaders and Sixth Form Student teachers, the dances consisted of a range of easy-to-follow, fun and catchy movements, incorporating many different styles and genres of Dance and Music.
It truly reflected Old Palace’s love of Dance (did you know we offer the subject at GCSE and AS Level?) and celebrated the culture and heritage of our wonderful students.
