Our Reception children are busy getting ready for Christmas. This morning the class was a hive of activity as the girls made paper baubles, wrote and posted letters to Santa, read a story in the Christmas living area and played with some special Christmas sand in the sand pit.
Mrs Elliott writes: Reception have enjoyed taking part in lots of festive activities within the classroom. We created our very own post office role play area where the girls used their phonics to write letters to Santa and posted them through our Christmas post box. We have also been decorating stars and baubles and reading a range of Christmas stories in our very cosy home corner.
They are also getting ready for their appearance in The Sleepy Shepherd on Wednesday.
