We rounded off Children’s Mental Health Week on Friday with a family fun run around the field before school.
On Monday, each girl was given the name of another girl in their class to be kind to throughout the week. Friday was the day they were invited to guess who was being kind to them and identify the acts of kindness that had a positive impact on them so that they could be repeated in the future.
The girls were also invited to wear their own clothes to school as a way of celebrating who they are and expressing what is important to them individually.
Pupils were asked for a voluntary £2 donation to raise funds for some new playground equipment as a way of increasing positivity through play.
