Evensong at the Minster
On Monday, our chapel choir Polyphonic sang Evensong at Croydon Minster. Lead by Mr Griffith, the choir sang Archer’s Berkshire Service as well as his Preces and Responses, with the cantor part sung fabulously by Year 13 student Pavithra.
The anthem, A Prayer by Lloyd, started with a beautiful solo by Ria in Year 12 and created a very peaceful atmosphere in the Minster. This was the choir’s first Evensong since March 2020, and the first service for several new members to the choir, so it felt particularly special.
The next Evensong will be on Monday 15th November at 5:30pm, and is open to all. We hope to see you there!
