The Year 12 Biology students spent the day at Bushy Park collecting data for their practical endorsement. There were some very cute goslings on the walk to the sampling sites. The students compared two freshwater habitats and made a drawing of one of the insect larvae that they caught. In the afternoon they revised their fieldwork skills from GCSE using tape measures, quadrats and keys to identify meadow species. The students packed for the forecast hail storm, which fortunately never arrived.
